| Welcome to Atavachron: The Official Allan Holdsworth Web Site. The Atavachron Web Site content is available in both framed and non-framed versions. While I resisted the idea of using frames for a very long time, I now think many users will enjoy the enhanced navigational benefits afforded by the framed content. |

| About Atavachron |
| Atavachron is the Internet's only officially-sanctioned clearinghouse for information regarding the work of Allan Holdsworth. Atavachron is comprised of two separate resources:
Founded in 1991, the Atavachron mailing list (and in 1994, the Web site) was born of a midwesterner's frustration with never being able to find information about Allan's tour dates and new releases. With the help of scores of contributors and Holdsworth enthusiasts, the site has grown to what you see here today. Atavachron has been mentioned in Guitar Player magazine (September, 1995), and in the liner notes of CDs by Allan Holdsworth (None Too Soon) and Jens & Anders Johannson (Heavy Machinery). |
| About The Maintainer |
| Atavachron's maintainer, Jeff Preston, has been listening to Allan Holdsworth's work since 1978, and has been actively involved in various Internet endeavors since 1989. He has been quoted in Gentleman's Quarterly ("GQ"), and in Daniel Barrett's book Bandits On The Information Superhighway (published by O'Reilly & Associates), as a result of his efforts to expose deceptive advertising on the Internet by a major American recording label. He is currently employed as an Internet/Intranet Consultant with one of the largest health care corporations in the U.S., and is also involved with the Nashville-based Web service provider, ADdimension, Inc., provider of Web service for Atavachron. |
