To subscribeSimply fill out the form below, indicating the action you wish to perform (either subscribe or unsubscribe), and your valid e-mail address. Then, click the submit button. You will receive e-mail notification (the "Welcome to Atavachron" e-mail) from the majordomo list server IF you provided the correct e-mail address (if you do not receive notification within a few hours, you can assume that you are NOT subscribed -- this usually only occurs when an invalid, undeliverable e-mail address which is is provided -- please consult your local e-mail gurus for help).DO NOT AUTO-FORWARD YOUR ATAVACHRON MAIL TO ANOTHER ADDRESS! Some users have the capability of auto-forwarding all or some of their e-mail from one address to another. This makes it very difficult to resolve bounced mail problems. Don't do it! jdoe@aol.com ... even IF AOL says it is J Doe@aol.com. If you put a space in there, you're NOT going to be subscribed. You also will not be subscribed if you leave off the ' @ ' and all the stuff to the right of it. It's required for e-mail delivery across the Internet.
NOTE:It is expected that all postings submitted to Atavachron follow the usual guidelines for etiquette and good taste as required by Bitnet and Internet policy. Postings submitted with arguably offensive language, or postings submitted with no relevance to the purpose of the list will be returned to the sender without being distributed to the list. "Flames" should be conducted via personal e-mail, please.Also note that due to Allan Holdsworth's extreme distaste for the practice of "bootlegging" his live shows), postings which in the opinion of the moderator constitute either an advertisement for or a solicitation of illicit recordings will NOT be accepted. This should also be seen as a courtesy to Allan and his family, who continue to stay in contact with the list and have provided Atavachron with much timely (and in many cases, otherwise- unobtainable) information; your understanding in this matter will help assure Atavachron's continued good relationship with Allan.
